Dear Helen, Marvel, Randy and Milton and family. I was so sad to hear the news of your mom’s passing. I know you all are grieving such an amazing and loving mother. I must say that she touched my life early on and these last 3 years. She was one of mom’s dearest and closest friends. They shared many good times, music nights at your house and ours, bowling nights, coffee time, travelling by greyhound to Edmonton to see their Doctors every six months for a lot of years, going to see the Olympic Champions skate and ‶The Price is Right″ at the Encana Events Center to name a few. As mom’s dementia increased, many friends stopped coming to visit but not your mom. She would phone or stop in and I know that it is hard when dementia hits because it is hard to communicate with them, but that did not stop her from still coming around. I saw her firsthand talk with mom with such dignity and love. But that is exactly the kind of person she was. For that I am truly thankful. Mom was so blessed to have had such a friend! Please know that I am thinking of all of you and want you to know that your mom made a mark on this world in her own quiet and wonderful way and I was and will be forever changed because her.
