Obituary of Jeris John Kolosky

Jeris John Kolosky was born on September 14, 1986 in Chetwynd B.C. to John and Bridget Kolosky. He became an older brother to Jamie, Danielle, Serena and Presley. Jeris loved hunting, fishing, and tools. Farm equipment and machinery, as well as the camping bus, were high on his list of favourite things. Jeris tried organized sports and cub scouts, never finding what was right until he discovered his guitar. He loved to sing and play. He had a special liking for the old country and AC DC. Johnny Cash's Sunday Morning Coming Down was his theme song. Jeris and the band shook the walls in some high voltage jam sessions. He eagerly participated in some school talent shows at Chetwynd Secondary School. Jeris took his old three wheeler everywhere, he used the old bike like a car. He would take it to town to visit, go rent videos, and did a lot of hunting on the old bike. Jeris loved to hunt and he shot his first moose in Del Rio at the age of 13. His favourite fishing spots were big lake and Tezzeron. Jeris's first two jobs were at KFC and Murray's Pub where, at sixteen, he was proud to earn the right of head cook. Kernal Kolosky loved to cook. The past few years he was the main cook at the farm and he enjoyed entertaining when he could. Jeris loved his vehicles, Old Blue, White Lightning, and Barney. Barney was his home away from home. He would rip apart and fix whatever needed to be done. He would run everything till it dropped. Another of Jeris's pride and joys was the cabin he was building. Material things meant little to him. He went out of his way to help people. If his friends were happy, he was happy. Jeris was lucky enough to find Kayla. Their time together was way too short, but he had the experience of feeling her special love. Kayla mentions when he would come home from work, walk in the front door and grab her and start dancing with no music or anything. Jeris is predeceased by Grandma Sharlene Guillet, Great Gramdma and Grandpa Ethel and Bill Seidel. Jeris will be fondly remembered by Jamie Kolosky & Amanda Silver, Bridget, Fred, and Presley Steen, John, Nicole, Danielle and Serena Kolosky, Grandpa Don Guillet, Grandma and Grandpa John and June Kolosky, Great grandparents, Ed and Irene Guillet and many, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
