Obituary of Marc Thomas Junior Adams

Marc was born on June 24, 1987 in Langley BC. He was raised in Aldergrove BC by his parents Marc Senior and Pamela Holden. Marc grew up in Aldergrove and was taught to be respectful and always think before speaking, especially to his elders. He was taught to save his money, and when he was little he was very good at saving his money. As a young boy he enjoyed having a paper rout. Marc cared for others and always made sure that everybody was on top of things, like getting permission forms signed for field trips. He spent a lot of time with family, going to the water slides, Aldergrove Lake and hanging out with his cousins and just being a kid. Marc was incredibly creative in everything that he accomplished. He had a passion for food and cooking. He worked atthe Sportsman's Restaurant in Hudson's Hope with many of his friends, and alongside his father Marco for a number of years. Many hungry souls enjoyed a great meal from Marc, just as they did from his father Marco! Marc was always respectful to the people of the community. He was upbeat, had a positive attitude and was known for trying to cheer up and make people laugh, especially whenthey were having a difficult day. Marc's favourite thing wasgardening; his thumb was truly'green'. He figured out new ways to grow things, like upside down tomatoes. While commercials were touting the new product, Marc had it already figured out and was proudly showing off his juicy crop. Marc deeply loved his family. He had a special relationship with his brother Matthew, he always had time for him and they spent many hours hanging out together. Marc also loved his friends, and the tearful faces here today are a tribute to that love and the giant hole that his absence has left in our lives. He will remain in our hearts and memories throughout the coming years. Eventually over time, there will be much laughter at his memory, his life and his antics. Marc is survived by: his father Marco Adams, step-mom Laura Adams, Mother Pamela Holden, Sister Christina Adams her husband Jeff Thompson their daughter Akira and son Bryson sister PaigeAdams,and his brother MathewAdams and many other family members and friends. Marc was taken from us suddenly on September 4, 2010 at the age of 23 years. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Hudson's Hope Community Hall, Pastor Tom Belcher officiated, interment will be at a later date.
