Obituary of Janis Judith Nousek
Janis Nousek, was a loving, giving, and beautiful woman. She leaves behind many loved ones, but she has left us with many unforgettable memories and lots of love which she gave abundantly.
As a wife she was a beautiful example for us growing up. Loyal to her one true love for many years, she really demonstrated how special a marriage can be.
She was also a loving mother of three. She was a special kind of mother and she never stopped being a loving mother, even as her children grew older. She was quick to run to the side of the one who needed support, love, and a warm hug.
As a grandmother she was beyond words. She made sure that our childhoods were over-filled with joy. She was the kind of grandma you could go to at any time for support, a shoulder to cry on, and a friend to talk to. It was just who she was, from the bottom of her heart.
She was a sister to 15 siblings. I can imagine that it would be a lot of work to love and have relationships with so many people, but she did so with ease. She loved each member of her family deeply.
As an aunt she was always friendly and open. She was never too old to have fun, and really lit up any gathering with her stories and jokes.
She was an amazing friend to so many people. No matter who you were, her door was always open to anyone in need. A delightful woman who consistently exuded compassion - a compassion that amazed people.
It is going to be hard to live without her here. You can't help but notice when someone so lively is gone. She touched so many people in her life and will be remembered often by all. My comfort now is in knowing that she is in a better place -a special place that God has waiting for her. I know that one day I will see her again and until then, she'll be looking down on all of us with all of that love.
Janis is survived by loving husband of 42 years Brian Nousek, Daughter Verronica, Son Brian, Daughter-in-law Arlene, Granddaughters Sarah, Ashley & Amelia, Eleven Brothers and Two Sisters, Numerous Nieces & Nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Julius & Jane Martin, son Chuck Nousek, brother Lannie Martin, sister Darlene Evans, brother-in-law Harvey Evans, nephews Dean Martin, David Dodds, James Evans and great nephew James Evans. Above all Janis loved her family.
