Obituary of Joel Siller

Life's Story of Joel Christian Osian Siller Once upon a time there was a little boy who had to: Ride the Fastest,Climb the Highest,Smile the biggest,Sing the Loudest,Work the Hardest,And his wife said spend the Mostest. This little boy was a ready to take on the world right from the day he was born June the 26th, 1977. Riding anything with wheels was big on the little boy's agenda. He first started riding his pedal bike when he was about 2 and half years old. He did not have training wheels and didn't quite know how to stop once he got going so he would either run into a bush or the fence full tilt. Grandma Sillers cottage cheese pancakes were a favourite of Joel's and every Saturday he would ride his bike to the store to get the eggs and cottage cheese so that grandma could make his pancakes. Life was full of bikes, trikes, cars, trucks, dirt bikes, street bikes, snowmobiles and a jeep. Over about 19 years, he owned 19 different vehicles. Joel quit high school in grade ten and became a fourth generation carpenter and framing was his favourite part of the job. One of his first jobs was working for Sig Loberg. Like his great grandfather Osian he was happiest when he was working. Stacy and Joel started dating in grade nine due to a dare from one of Stacy's friends to call Joel up. Joel at the time was working at IGA and would buy her a dozen roses every pay check and on one occasion walked them up the hill to Stacy at school and gave them to her. Joel and Stacy were together 18 years including their dating years and were married on August second in the summer of 1998. Four and a half years later Emma came along. Emma was born on January 12th, 2003 and Joel nicknamed her princess. Joel was ecstatic when Emma was born and changed her first diaper when they brought her home from the hospital. Eighteen months later along came Hannah on July 9, 2004 and Joel called her Hannah-Boo. More than five years later Ethan Joel Osian Siller arrived 7 weeks early on September 13th, 2009 and just like his dad he had no time to waste. Joel called him daddy's little buckaroo. All of the children were given two middle names just like their dad and mom and the tradition was carried on. No matter what he was doing Stacy and the children were never far from his thoughts. Needless to say, the little boy grew up to be a beloved son, treasured brother, caring friend, cherished husband, and loving father. The memories will be in our hearts forever. Joel is survived by his loving Wife; Stacy, Daughters; Emma, Hannah, Son; Ethan, Parents; Delbert and Sharon Siller, Sisters; Rachel (Ken) Janzen , Samara (Trevor) Olson. Father and Mother in law; Don and Jannene Disher, Sisters in law; Lianna (Garrett) Hunter, Shawna (James) Bice, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
