Obituary of Albert Deak

Albert Deak is a man who loved life and lived a full life. We want to honor our dad by remembering his commitment to the development of a young Chetwynd, BC and his love of the town. Over 45 years ago our dad arrived in Chetwynd to work hard and enjoy the pristine wilderness Chetwynd has to offer. When our dad was not working he loved to hunt for a variety of wildlife. He was also an avid fisherman and looked forward to sharing his stories with family and friends. Our dad was a man with a wonderful sense of humor who could put a smile on anyone's face and the smile would light up the room. He truly relished his friends and was always there for anything they may need. Whether times were good or bad our dad was always a hard worker and was always there for his community and friends. The last three months were a struggle for our dad, but we were given opportunity to hold him and to share with him. We had to see his strength fade but our memories of the past became stronger and he filled our lives with happiness. The last three months brought promise and love and we shared even more then we could have hoped for. Our dad will always be in our hearts and our minds and may we pass this strength and courage on to own children and grandchildren. We will always love you dad.
