Obituary of Arthur Thomas Bowe

Arthur was born on February 25, 1931 in Fort Vermillion, Alberta. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, May 21, 2012 in Dawson Creek, B.C. at the age of 81 years. Arthur was hard working, a phenomenal teacher to his children and an abundant provider for his family. His love for hunting and trapping enabled him to spend every winter on his trap line, many times taking his family with him. He enjoyed operating equipment and was very mechanically inclined. Arthur may be gone in body but his spirit lives on through our memories and through the smiles, the humour, the love, and the warmth on the faces and hearts of his children, grand children and great grandchildren. Let us mourn the passing of Arthur but celebrate and honor the life of a loving spirit who has left us with many wonderful memories to carry on. Arthur will be sadly missed by his wife Emily, sons; Dennis (Doreen), Larry (Leanne), Darrel (Elaine), daughters; Lorna (Doyle), Ann (Ken), Gloria and Rhonda, as well as twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; Henry and Flora. A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm from Reynars Funeral Chapel. Pauline Haycock officiated.
