Obituary of Judith Ann Milkovich
Judy was born in Olmsted Falls, Ohio on March 22, 1936 to Mr. and Mrs. Macolm Knight she was the oldest of two daughters.
On October 5, 1957 Judy was married to Staff/Sgt. Martin J. Milkovich who was stationed at Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul, Ill. The couple welcomed the first of three children a year later. Martin James Milkovich Jr. was born on Aug. 22, 1958 in Rantoul, Ill.
Martin and Judy decided to immigrate to Canada in 1973. Packing all of their belongs and the kids into a truck and trailer they headed for the Great White North. The Milkovich's settled in the little town of Hudson's Hope, B.C. Judy always said that of all the places the couple ever stayed that this was home. With the greatest of sorrow the family of Judy Milkovich have to say good-bye to a very special woman. She will always be in our, and many friends hearts.
Judy passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 in Hudson's Hope, at the age of 76 years.
A memorial service was held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Hudson's Hope Community Hall, Pauline Haycock officiated, Interment will be at a later date. Judy was predeceased by her parents, son George (Skipper) Malcolm, and one grand-daughter, Deanna Patterson.
Judy is survived by her sister Leslie Mizen; her loving husband Martin J. Milkovich; son Martin J. Milkovich Jr. wife Sharon (Braun); daughter Judy Dawn husband Doug (Patterson); four grandchildren, Christina Goodvin and her husband Kirk, Alex Patterson, Martin J. Milkovich III, Rebecca Patterson. And two great grandchildren, Camron and Brody Goodvin.
