Obituary of Kathleen "Kay" Arsenault
Kathleen (Kay) Arsenault passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on July 4, 2012, at the age of 76 years. Kay was born in Fairview, Alberta and spent most of her life in the Peace Country area, residing mainly in Bonanza and Dawson Creek, BC. Kay was a hard working, fun loving woman who raised nine children on her own, working two jobs most of the time just to make ends meet. She loved listening to country music and playing the spoons, when she wasn't tending to the multiple flowers she loved to grow. She will be sadly missed by her children Linda (Lawrence) Tanguay, Debra (Rob) McGregor, Dale Kachowski, Gale (Kevin) Lodge, Iris (Peter) Giesbrecht, Bruce (Bev) Kachowski, twenty four grandchildren, and twenty six great-grandchildren; brothers Marcel Arsenault, Paul (Carey-Lynn) Arsenault, Harry Arsenault, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters Tracy, Cindy, and Evelyn; grandsons Clint and Dillon; brother Emile, and sisters' Simone and Jean, as well as her parents Luige and Blanche. A private family memorial service was held at Bergeron Funeral Chapel, Dawson Creek, BC, on July 14, 2012, and she was inurnned at the Dawson Creek Cemetary with her beloved mother.
