Obituary of Greg David Andrew Brown

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Greg David Andrew Brown who passed away at his home on November 16th, 2012 at the age of 19 years. He was born on May 19th, 1993, in Rocky Mountain House, AB to Wendell and Caroline Brown, the first of four children. Greg was an amazing, protective and nurturing big brother. Maisey, his oldest sister was born in 1997. While attending Chetwynd High School his second sister Brooklyn was born. Greg surprised his family with his natural ability to hold and comfort a baby. In 2010 Greg got his wish when his baby brother Nathan was born. He loved all of his siblings, he tried to parent Maisey and make sure that she attended school each and every day, dressed appropriately and obeyed his every command. Brooklyn and Greg had a very special bond. The bond between them is so strong Brooklyn will always remind us of Greg when she giggles. Wendell and Greg nicknamed Nathan "Rampage"when he was born,in hope that he would cause lots of trouble. Greg always loved it when Nathan was causing trouble. Greg's passion was motorcross. He was a member of the Pine Valley Motorcross Association since 2009 when his parents gave him a TRX 450 R racing quad for being such a kind and considerate son. In 2011 Greg graduated grade 12 from Chetwynd Secondary School, which was a huge accomplishment. He was so smart and wise beyond his years and everyone knew it. In October 2011 Greg beamed when he landed a job at West Fraser Mill. Greg will be remembered for his social nature and friendliness along with his sense of humour. He was witty and could put a smile on your face any day. His honesty and generosity afforded him the respect and pride of his family and friends. He will be dearly remembered and deeply missed. Greg a resident of Chetwynd, B.C. was formerly a resident of Tumbler Ridge, B.C. and Rocky Mountain House AB.
