Obituary of Matilda Ferbey
Tilly Ferbey was born in Winnipegosis, Manitoba on January 6, 1939 to Jack and Anne Tabak. The family lived in Smith, Alberta and after their home burnt down in 1955, they moved to Dawson Creek.
On May 31, 1957 she married Bill Ferbey, and they had three children Jennie, Andy and Amanda.
Tilly enjoyed reading, camping, berry picking and socializing with family and friends as she loved to entertain.
Tilly passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 in Dawson Creek, at the age of 73 years.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm from Reynars Funeral Chapel, Reverend Marilyn Carroll officiated. Interment followed in the Dawson Creek City Cemetery Columbarium.
Tilly was predeceased by her Parents; Jack and Anne Tabak.
Tilly is survived by her loving Husband; William, Daughters; Jennie, Amanda, Son; Andy, Grandson; Damien, Sisters; Doris, Marge, Shirley, Dolly (Anne Jr), Brother; Jack, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
