Obituary of Agnes Teulon
Agnes Teulon was born on May 30, 1915 in Jansen, Saskatchewan. She passed away peacefully on January 17, 2013 in Hythe, Alberta at the age of 97 years.
Agnes moved to Alberta at age 15 with her parents. On June 19, 1934 she married Robert Teulon of the West Hythe District. They farmed until August of 1949, at which time they moved into the town of Hythe. Agnes went to work at Rodekkers Sawmill as a bookkeeper, where she was employed for a number of years until it closed. From there, Agnes went to work at the Hythe Hospital, and spent many enjoyable years there.
Agnes is survived by her 5 daughters and 1 son, Doreen Flaten, Margaret MacAulay, Patricia Miller, Tom (Denise) Teulon, Edna Sandboe, Mabel (Larry) Hanson, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren.
Agnes was predeceased by her husband Robert, 2 son-in-laws, Gilman Flaten and Brian MacAulay, her parents and all of her siblings.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at St. Edmund's Catholic Church in Hythe, Alberta. Father Arul Arockiasamy officiated, Interment followed in the Hythe Cemetery.
