Obituary of Vernon Moorman
Vernon Franklin Philip Moorman, was born on February 10, 1939 in his grandparents cabin near the Pouce River. Vernon was the second son to parents Merle and Katie Moorman.
Vernon passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Dawson Creek, B.C. at the age of 74 years.
A Celebration of Life service was held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Dawson Creek Alliance Church. Pastor Michael Benty officiated, Internment will be at a later date.
Vern is predeceased by; his father Merle, mother Katherine, brothers Elmer, Ray and Brian.
Vern is survived by; his loving wife of 46 years Carol, children Kathy (Terry), Ken (Penny), Rhonda (Dean), Candice (Garry), Kristy (Greg) and Tanner (Megan), grandchildren Jamie (Linton), Brandon (Tara), Joel, Ty, Dylan, Owen, Keenan, McKenzie and Kallie, great grandchildren Logan and Austin, siblings Linda (Wayne), Delores (Jen) and Carol, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
