Obituary of Gwyneth May Moore
Gwyneth May Davies was born on May 1, 1928 in Pontypridd, South Wales. She was one of seven children born to David and Annie Davis. She grew up in a small village named Taffs Well, during the second world war.
Gwyneth met Edward Moore and they were married on December 18, 1945. She then moved to Canada in September of 1946 along with many other war brides travelling by ship and train.
Gwyneth and Edward loved children and they had one daughter Judy. For many years Gwyneth worked as a cook and was well known for her wonderful meals and outstanding pies.
During her retirement years she enjoyed reading, travelling, camping, bowling, going to the lake and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Gwyneth passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 in Dawson Creek at the age of 85 years.
Gwyneth was predeceased by her loving husband Edward.
Gwyneth is survived by her daughter Judy, grandchildren Tracey (Chris), and Todd (Tabitha), four great grandchildren Kaelan, Nolan, Ryan and Janna, along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00 am from Reynars Funeral Chapel, Pauline Haycock officiated. Interment will be at a later date.
