My deepest condolences to the Wheeler family. I remember when you lived just up over the hill in Summerville. I spent many hours at your house and remember your father with fond memories. My dad, Felix, would also like to pass along his regards to your family. Dad often tells stories of your Father and how they were great friends. He relates many stories of your Fathers great skills as a mechanic and some of the humorous situations they found themselves in from time to time.

He was the best friend we ever had. We always helped each other whenever we could. "Dick and Buddy" always had fun working together. They traveled far and wide to help Wayne with his trucking, especially fixing. We, as a family, will miss him very very much.

It's hard to put into words how much I love my dad, he meant the absolute world to me. I loved spending time with him at all the parades that he loved dearly. So many memories we shared, so many events that will never be the same without him. I'm going to miss my dad each and every day, and I'll forever carry him in my heart. Love you dad

My grandfather was an amazing, amazing man. I remember being his emergency contact running him around from hospital to rotary manor, and back. He always knew how to put a smile on someone's face. I have so many good memories with him. We had a rough past year or so, but he was my grandpa and I loved him dearly. He will be forever missed. Rest in Peace Poppy <3 xoxo

Richard
My memory of Richard was mosly when he was on the main floor. He was always out sweeping the parking lot, and keeping a eye on our cars. If someone had a low tire he would come in and tell you. He also had the largest collection of movies. He also loved to give staff and visiting children candy. Rest in Peace Richard

We are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. Richard was always a bright spot in our visits to the Manor... he was in the room across the hall from my Mom (Ada Blew) and we were always thankful he was her neighbour . Richard always made sure mom made it to the dining room on time by pushing her wheelchair for her. Our granddaughter's loved receiving chocolate bars each and every time they visited. Our youngest granddaughter even sketched his room (complete with chocolate bars and movies) when she was about 4 years old. He was so proud of his new room in the tower and everyone in our family had the pleasure of visiting him there. R.I.P my friend, you will be missed by so many.
