It has taken me some time to write on here, as I looked for the words to say and they probably still wont come out right or say all the things i feel. Dolly was my step mother for many years and a big part of my life growing up. She and I had a different and special type of bond that some might not understand, we went through so much in the short time we had together. She loved everything in life and had so much passion. She loved to write poetry, craft, animals, and most of all children. I have many memories with her but some of my favorite was Christmas time because she always tried to make so magical even as I got older. She loved her family very much and always wanted to have her own with her own children but I was as close as she got to that and she treated me as I was her own. I loved her too...I did try to find her in Calgary but I had no luck and time ran out. I wish I could have shown her me all grown up and reminisced about the good times, I wish she could of met my son, I wish I could apologize for those young teenage years, I wish I could remember our last conversation. Rest in peace Dolly you will forever be in my heart and in the memories in my mind. Love always, Amanda.
