Dear family Of Bernie, We are very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember playing with Connie-constantly and regularly as little girls do -and somehow we often ended up at Bernie and Shirley's house. Raising my own family-who are now almost fully grown-I know what a treasure it is to have a safe place for our kids to hang out at. Its something I took for granted as a child. Living on the farm with families who had similar values, we were blessed with living near to so many caring neighbors.
