Dear Aunt Helen, and Cousins, Alma, Melvin, Rosalyn, Charles & families; Our deepest sympathy for you all, and especially to you, Aunt Helen, and to Anne-Marie and the children and grandchildren. Our thoughts and prayers and love have been with you in these long difficult months of Art’s struggle with cancer, and we sorrow with you in the pain of your deep loss. Your family has gone through the heartache of saying goodbye too many times, and we remember each one who has gone before us. They will always be part of our Funk family memories and we are with you in our hearts in the loss you are going through again. I believe all the Funk cousins and Funk family are feeling your loss in our hearts with much sadness for you, wherever we are located. We are sorry that we are not able to be with you for the services you have planned, but we are with you in prayers and if the funeral is live-streamed, we will be with you in that way also. Art’s legacy will remain, but you will miss him very much as his home-going seems so early in life, with yet so much to give and receive. The glories of God’s eternal promises continue for Art in his new dwelling place. May the Lord carry and comfort you.
