I'll always miss you my dear old friend I don't remember the last time I saw Bonnie but it has to be very close to 30 years ago. I used to follow her around like a puppy when she was a teenager. She was a few years older than I was and no respectable girl would have wanted a kid like me following them around, I was smitten, but she was always kind to me, always respectful. I met Bonnie when she was 15 years old and I was 13 years old and I fell immediately into the kind of stupid love that only a goofy and foolish 13 year old experiences. When we were kids she used to talk about putting an axe over her shoulder and walking to the Rocky mountains to build a home there and I believed she'd get there eventually. I knew that she loved Michael very deeply and I remember when they were married, just how kind she was when she broke the news to me. I could her in her words that she knew that she was breaking my childish heart even though I'd never said a word to her about my feelings. She was so happy and following her dreams the last time I saw her. That is the best memory I have of her, that she was finally going to the mountains to build her home. Thank you for letting me share this here. Bonnie was a shining light to me and a very important part of my young life. I am shocked to have found that she's gone. I always knew that we would have one more chance to laugh together and to chat but I didn't ever imagine that I could be wrong about that. I always thought we would meet each other when we were old and compare life notes. Even though we hadn't seen each other in decades she was always out there and that was a good feeling. The world will not be the same without her light in it. I'm am so sorry for your loss Michael and for all of you who loved her and had her in your lives. I will always have you in my thoughts Bonnie. I hope we see each other somewhere again somehow.
