Fond memories of Dad The fond memories I have of my Dad are going camping a lot when we were young and Dad always made sure we were close to a river or stream so we could go fishing. Dad loved to fish and he taught me how to catch a fish as well. We went on plenty of camping trips with family and friends and there was never a dull moment with Dad around because he liked to have fun and tell jokes around the campfire even though we might have heard the same jokes several times we all still laughed at them. I also remember going hunting with Dad,we used to hunt for grouse and he always knew where the good spots were to hunt. Dad taught me how to handle and shoot a gun properly and I got to be a pretty good shot. In the winter time we used to go on snowmobile trips with family and friends and we would always stop and have a weiner roast on the trail,we had a lot of fun. Dad was always a good hostess,whenever I brought my friends over he was always trying to feed them something and he loved to cook and fed many mouths. He also liked to tease my friends all the time telling them they had something on their shirt and they would look down and he would flick them on the nose. I will always remember your fun loving spirit Dad,I love you and miss you until we meet again. Your daughter Lana
