Its been a long first year without you, but in the same breath, its gone by so fast. You have missed so much, but we have missed so much more... you. There hasn't been a day go by that I haven't shed a tear. Its been so hard not having you here with me, with our kids and our beautiful grandkids ,to watch them grow. But most of all, the thing that keeps me going is that you are no longer suffering the pain that you lived with for so long. "Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened."

Horse riding I remember Garth walking all the way to the farm, to ride one of the horses that Dalt Doonan had left there for the summer. He had a huge stack of books under his arm. He was about sixteen at the time and had walked up 8th St. to the corner where the farm was, by Hilltop Greenhouse. He was a nice kid.
