My heart goes out to Justin's family and friends. Both Justin and Jeremy grew up on the famous 7th Street. Our family called them "The "J" Brothers", mainly because Tom and I could keep their names straight. They both went to school and grew up with our kids. Great times were had playing "kick the can", much to the chagrin of some neighbors...rest in Peace Justin and Jeremy keep the memories alive.

What a terribly sad loss for everyone who knew Jutsin. I don't think there is anyone in Dawson Creek or the surrounding area that wouldn't know his name. To the family, friends and loved ones....i know words could never truly express the loss you are all feeling at this time, I'm so very truly sorry. Justin was a special guy that lived a short but well lived life surrounded by alot of friends and family. He will be greatly missed by many and his memory will live on very strong. I grew up throughout junior high and high school with Justin. We spent alot of time together and shared thousands upon thousands of great memories together. He introduced me to alot of important and cool things growing through those teenage years. He introduced me to alot of great music. One especially that never grew old was Rage Against the machine and every time I heard it, and going forward, I would always think of him. I was really proud to see the man he turned into, a great father, uncle and more. He had always stuck up for me back then and I will never forget the impact he and his whole family had on my life. This loss is so sad and tragic. I got close to his family for many years dating his brother Jeremy and want to send extra hugs his way. The memories of all of this will never fade...and neither will the light that Justin shone on this world. My condolences go out to everyone effected especially all his family. I'm so very sorry that I cannot be there to say final words. But I'm sending as much love as I can muster from the okanagan. RIP dear lil Link and see you somewhere, sometime once again. Love forever and always, Becks

I am saddened to hear about Justin's passing. My sincerest condolences go out to all his family and friends. I was one of Justin's teachers and coach at Central Middle School in the early nineties. On our basketball team I affectionately called Justin "Wild Man." Justin knew how much I loved to see great defence, and he was a man possessed when I would put him on the floor to check the opponent's best guard, or to lead the our full court press. I was always impressed with his boundless energy and the joy he brought to the gym everyday. Justin was also goofy and friendly. I remember him in my home getting himself wedged into my daughter's cardboard playhouse. The two of them had a ball, even though he wrecked the thing. I will always remember his indomitable spirit. Rest in Peace. Kevin Godden
