You will be greatly missed. When I started working for Alvin, you made me feel so welcome to Dawson Creek. I will never forget those awesome outings and our great conversations. I will always remember your caring ways and all the time you spent helping your fellow man in many and various ways. You had a heart so big and caring we will all miss you in many ways. Family was always so important to you, and nobody could have made our Christmas parties so enjoyable. You had a matchless joy for life and you always wanted to share it. I am sure you are enjoying meeting up with those who went before and those up in Heaven are in for many many games of Charades!. Here's hoping you are totally enjoying yourself and I am so glad you did not have to suffer. Do not worry for those you left behind, for you did a good job bringing them up in the Lord, and after some initial sorrow, they will look forward to meeting you again when it is their time. In the meantime, I am sure they have enough memories to keep your spirit alive in their hearts for all time. So long and enjoy!!!! My love to all your family and help them through this day.

Dear Alvin & family, I'm sad to read of Dorothy's passing. My thoughts immediately went far back to great times shared at Paradise Valley (Bear Mountain) in winter and backyard bbq's in summer. Those were great times! Though I've been gone from the north for a lot of years, treasured memories live on. Her sweet & kind disposition will be forever remembered. Dorothy was my first friend when I moved to DC in 1966. And, 51 years later, was still the first person I called when I needed to talk. Dorothy was always happy to share stories about you, Alvin, kids and grandkids. With so many happy memories to cherish forever, Dorothy was a blessing to all of us. I miss you my friend, 1-4-3.
