Love you forever Aunty. I hope you dance hard and are greeted by all of Our relations in the sky world! You will remain a bright shining star in my ming and heart! Although I am 1,000 miles away stuck on a shop in the middle of the Carribean sea, know that my heat, mind and spirit is there with our family! You were a favourite amongst favourites! My Aunty was a kind-hearted person who loved all people. If you were lucky enough to know her then you would have been blessed with a nickname and touched by her teasing nature. My Aunty sure knew how to make a person feel like they were the star of the hour and a precious human. She was a non-judgemental person who loved people from all walks of life. She helped many people over her lifetime and the many friends and family gathered here today are a true testament to how many people loved her. My Aunty loved to tell jokes and poke fun. Aunty was always able to make a serious matter a bit more lighthearted or to help find the silver-lining in the clouds. Aunty could see the good in everything and everyone. It is her sensational sparkle and warm energy that we will all miss the most. She had a permanent smile on her face and a glint of mischief in her eye which was reflective of the many tricks and fun-teasing-games she would play and poke fun with people. My Hetu sisters and I fondly remember the weekend trips to the big city of Dawson Creek where they would get to taste auntys exotic Hawaii pizza with pineapple and shrimp (WOW!) that was divine and nothing tasted so new and exotic. Aunty also organized the BEST dance-offs and disco shows! The Hetu girls will forever associate Bonney-M, Susie Quadro and ABBA with Aunty Marilyn!
