Obituary of Gloria Bowe
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gloria (Velma) Bowe.
Gloria was born in Keg River, AB to Arthur Thomas Bowe and Emily Lucy Chalifoux on May 13, 1959. She was the third of seven children. She is predeceased by her father, Arthur Bowe. She leaves behind her mother, Emily Bowe, and her only daughter, Jody LynnPack (Josh) and her three grandsons: Josiah, Owen and Asher Pack. She is also survived by her siblings: Dennis (Doreen) Bowe, Lorna (Doyle) Cardinal, Larry (Leanne) Bowe, Ann (Ken) Drover, Rhonda Bowe, and Darrel (Elaine) Bowe, as well as numerous niecesand nephews.
Gloria passed from this life in Kamloops, BC on June 20, 2018. We honor her life and memory alongside the memory of her life partner, Steve Jones.
It is with sadness that we remember the passing of Stephen Peter Jones on Sept 29, 2013. Stephen "Steve" was born October 28, 1942 in Strathroy, Ontario to Lydia Allen Welch and James Edward Jones. Steve is survived by his children from his first marriage, Dave, Lynn and Rick, their partners and numerous grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Liz. He is also survived by his daughter from his second partner, Jody Lynn Pack (Josh) and his three grandsons: Josiah, Owen and Asher Pack.
He leaves behind his older brother John and was predeceased by his younger brother Lee and both of his parents. He spent his growing up years near London Ontario and Port Arthur (Thunder Bay) Ontario. Steve lost his battle with cancer in 2013 but is being remembered alongside his life partner, Gloria Bowe, as we honor her life and memory. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1:30pm at the Bergeron Funeral Chapel.
