Obituary of Hazel Inkster
Hazel Inkster 1922 - 2018 Hazel Inkster, resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia and former resident of Turtleford, Saskatchewan and Cut Knife, Saskatchewan passed away on August 11, 2018 at the age of 96 years. She was born on April 17, 1922 in Edam, Saskatchewan to parents Edwin William Norman and Margaret Scott. Hazel was predeceased by her parents and husband the late George Inkster.
Growing up Hazel attended West Hazel School in Saskatchewan. Hazel had an incredible memory and was known as a smart dresser. She loved knitting, crocheting and music, especially singing in the choir. Hazel worked as a waitress at the Travel Lodge and at the Dawson Creek CO-OP for many years. She will be remembered fondly by all that knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on August 18, 2018, at 11am at the Bergeron Funeral Chapel in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Marilyn Carroll will officiate.
Interment to follow in the Dawson Creek City Cemetery, Dawson Creek, British Columbia.
