Obituary of Ashlynn Myers

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, girlfriend and true friend Ashlynn Myers. Ashlynn was taken from us suddenly on September 23, 2018 at the age of 17 years. Ashlynn will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and even more beautiful heart. She loved spending time with her friends and was always up for an adventure, especially if it included peanut butter and pickles. Ashlynn loved children; often she could be found with a baby in her arms. She lived with her whole heart and gave of herself freely to make others lives better. Ashlynn leaves behind her mom, Karry; siblings Daylen, Kayleigh, and Ainsley; Nana and Papa Karan and Harold Reti; uncles Dave (Laurena), Shawn (Aimee), and Darcy; nephews Daxton and Dominic; loving boyfriend Toryn; as well as numerous cousins, family members, and friends. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm, at the Dawson Creek Alliance Church. Pastor Trevor Birak officiated. Interment will be held at a later date. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the individuals, groups and businesses alike, of not only our community of Dawson Creek, but also the surrounding communities, who have shown selfless generosity and kindness. A special thank you to the first responders, BC Ambulance Service, STARS Air Ambulance and all the doctors and nurses for your care, kindness and compassion that night. Thank you to Trevor and Elizabeth Birak, the Alliance Church and finally to Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium for the continued support over the weeks past. You have all helped to lighten some of the darkest days of our lives, and for that we are grateful.
