To Tanya's Tumbler Ridge family, I am so sorry to read of your loss. I first learned of your daughter's/sister's passing when Holly had it on her FB page. And then I saw it again on Patty's. And just now a friend of mine from cadets in Chetwynd had shared her obituary on FB, saying that he went to school with her children. This must be so hard on you, as I remember that you lost one of her siblings just a few years back. Know that everyone from back home, regardless of where we all live now, are with you at this time and thinking and praying of you. I met Valerie at the ORHS family reunion in 2009 (or whenever it was) at the Legion breakfast. To Tanya's family, condolences to you. She will be missed. She was my two youngest bus driver. I use to thank her for helping them get through high school as she was very supportive to them. She would radio the bus garage to call our house to say hey I'm down the hill waiting and gave them time to get there. (before we got cell service at lake). I'm very thankful for her kindness and friendship, she even bought my daughter a grad gift, making my daughter feel special and loved. She is an angel now, watching over you. Hugs to you all.
