Obituary of Sharon Baduk
Sharon Baduk 1942 - 2018 Sharon Baduk was born on October 6, 1942 in Fairview, Alberta to Russell and Edna Lever. She was born somewhere in the middle of a family of nine, alongside her twin sister Sheila. Growing up in Fairview, and sharing family responsibilities, she was entrusted with the family shopping. Sharon loved to read romance novels and play with paper dolls, so much that, she still played with them until early adulthood. Later, she moved to Dawson Creek where she worked at Dawson Creek Cleaners and met her future husband Bill Baduk. Soon after Bill and Sharon married and raised a family of four: Rocky, Terry, Tammy, and Leslie. Sharon took part in various community clubs and organizations where she made many friends. She was down at "Hypertension Escape" every week for bowling night and was the treasurer for her weekly Weight Watchers group. She also donated blood at the Red Cross often. Sharon was a colorful story teller, an avid collector, a Yahtzee enthusiast and a soap opera addict. She loved games and crossword puzzles and never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune. Many hours were also spent carefully beading Christmas ornaments for friends and family. Sharon passed away peacefully on the morning of December 1, 2018. She is predeceased by her husband Bill Baduk, her son Rocky Baduk, and her son Terry Baduk. She is survived by her daughter Tammy, son Leslie, and her sisters Sheila and Connie. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and many other friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be held January 4, 2019 at 2pm at Bergeron Funeral Chapel in Dawson Creek.
