The world got smaller when Dolores left to go to her Heavenly Father. The loss her family and friends feel is Heaven’s gain. Ken-I’m so incredibly sad and sorry to hear this news. You both were integral parts of my life and I always enjoyed time spent with you wether here in Crofton or visiting my parents in El Centro. Oh the card games, the dinners, the jewellery and the laughs. Dolores was a fantastic woman and my life was definitely richer for knowing her and spending time in her presence. I’m sending all the virtual love I possibly can to you and your family-of whom Dolores lit up at the mention of. Dolores-you were much loved.

To my Dear Munro Family, A Matriarch who Loved God, The first words that comes to my mind as I think about Gramma Do! She was beautiful, smart, smiling, caring, inquisitive and always inclusive . She raise a family like no other, her example has flowed into my life by her and Grandpa Ken's raising amazing children (Ian, Bev and Sheldon ) who have gone on to to the same with their children. That same influence has been passed on to my children. It is a rare flow of Delores's life that is treasured! I am so grateful for the Munro family. A family who took me on as their own and will always be dear to my heart. Gramma Do you will be missed and loved always. To Grandpa Ken, love and hugs and memories will forever be held in my heart, you have a beautiful family and you and Deloris were an amazing example of marriage, family and Gods Love. Thank you for sharing your lives with me. Love and Prayers Diane Sykes

I fondly recall getting to know Dolores when she came to work with us at the Dr's Office. Her straight forward and unique take on things was always thought provoking & of course her work was perfect :) We were delighted when she went on to be an RN I will certainly miss running into her. My heart is with you Ken and the entire family. Love Marilyn

Dearest Ken, Ian, Sheldon, Bev and families, Our family just heard of the passing of your dear wife and mom We know this is such a great loss for all of you. We too will miss Delores. She and your family have been such a significant part of our parents life and in turn such a part of ours, especially during our growing up years. So many wonderful memories of times and years at the lake and occasional visits for all of us throughout our adult lives. Unfortunately Glenn and I will be away and my sisters live at such a distance we won’t be able to physically be at Delores service. However, Kim will be there and please know the rest of us will be there in thoughts and spirit. In life long friendship and love❤️ Cindy and Glenn

It is with a heavy heart that I learn of the passing of Dolores. Dolores left an indelible mark upon my life. Dolores was my first roommate, she and I both entered nursing school at the Grande Prairie Regional College together in 1983. She inspired me to dream and strive to explore the world from a new perspective. She shared her faith, her family and her dreams with me. Dolores introduced me to good wine , fine dining and it is never to late to pursue your passions. We laughed, we cried and we nudged one another to study hard, we rejoiced in our successes and we mourned our losses together. I regret I did not see Dolores in the recent past years, I wish now I had told her how special and important she was to me. Know that your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of your mother. I attribute much of how I formed as a human being and evolved as a nurse at that tender age in part due to your wife and mother. Warmest regards Donna Paradowski
