Obituary of Herman Reinitz
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herman Reinitz, Long time resident of the Peace River Area, in Dawson Creek, BC on Monday, February 15, 2021 at the age of 90 years.
Herman Walter Reinitz was born on March 18,1930 in Wembley, Alberta to Walter & Adela Reinitz. He was raised on a farm by the Wapiti, riding horses and attending school. When he was a young boy, he worked in Grande Prairie at the bowling alley setting up pins. As a young man he moved up to Dawson Creek where he met the love of his life, Margie Ryan. They married in 1953 and had 10 children they raised on the Saskatoon Creek. Herman was an early pioneer in the construction of roads in the Peace. He was a truck driver, mechanic and bus driver. A jack of all trades so to speak. Marge and Herman travelled all over in their retirement. Herman enjoyed life, his family and his friends. He will be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date once COVID restrictions have been lifted with interment to follow in the Rolla Cemetery.
Very Respectfully, Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium
