Obituary of Annette Pinard
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annette Julia Pinard, resident of Dawson Creek, Britsh Columbia. Annette passed in Dawson Creek, BC at the age of 93 years.
Annette was born March 9, 1928 in Falher, Alberta, the first child to Ulric and Alice Roy (predeceased). Annette loved singing with her dad and brothers Roger and Raymond. She was an excellent student and an eager learner. Sadly an illness cut her education short.
In 1946, she married Fernand Pinard and together they spent several years working in logging camps in Northern Alberta. In 1956, their son Ronald was born and after relocating to Dawson Creek, BC their daughter Gisele was born in 1960.
Annette made many lasting friends. She enjoyed gardening and cooking meals to share. Floor curling and attending jamborees was a favorite pastime. Her love for music, singing, and dancing never wavered. She belonged to several signing groups and was a regular presence at the Seniors Hall Dances.
Annette was preceded by her husband Fernand Pinard in 2001, and her brother Roger Roy in 2014. She leaves to mourn her children Ron (Pat) Pinard and Gisele Pinard; five grandchildren Amanda (Dustin) Pearson, Mathew (Meaghan) Pinard, Jeramy Bowley, Jesse Bowley, Jacob Bowley, one great-grandchild Hunter Pearson; and one brother Raymond Roy.
