Obituary of Craig Galibois
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Craig Galibois, long-time resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Craig passed away in Dawson Creek, BC at the age of 56 years.
Craig Galibois passed away suddenly on June 2, 2021 in Dawson Creek BC. He is survived by his mother Helen, siblings Roger (Beatrice), Anne (Gary) and Richard (Shirley), Diane, (his best friend and partner), and by his family at Peace Country Automotive, Ross and Jean Harcourt and Steve Tutin, He was predeceased by his father Claude.
Craig was born on May 9, 1965, the youngest of Claude and Helens four children. After high school he started work at Peace Country Automotive as a mechanic and continued there until his death. He loved his work, his colleagues, and his customers. He was very close with the Harcourts, working with them for 40 years.
Craig was passionate about golf and his easy laugh and more than occasional complaint will be missed around the Dawson Creek Golf and Country Club. He loved cheering for the Boston Bruins, kayaking with Diane and having a drink with friends and family. He was a kind son, looking after and helping his mom age in her home. He was a loyal brother and friend and always accepting of others. He was always there to help I if needed. He will be missed.
A Celebration of Craigs Life will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Galibois family home, 925 111 Avenue.
An outdoor, casual, come and go event will commence at 1pm with words of memory shared at 2pm.
