Obituary of George Lajeunesse
George E. LaJeunesse, a longtime resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the age of 82 years.
Born Monday, June 5, 1939, in Macklin, Saskatchewan, to Norma and Ernie LaJeunesse. George grew up in Saskatchewan, moving several times as his father was a C.P.R. station agent. In the later years, he moved to Tisdale. After high school, he attended vocational school in Moose Jaw. He took up welding, returning to Tisdale to work at Kramer Tractor. It was there that he met his wife, Marguerite.
Coming to Dawson Creek in 1962, they settled and started their family. He had three sons; Stacey, Joel, and Jason. There are seven grandchildren.
George worked at Finning Tractor, Quality Welding and Fabricating, and Borek Construction.
With respect to George's wishes, no Funeral Service or Celebration of Life will be held. Interment will be at a later date.
