Obituary of Jason Unser
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Unser, resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on Monday, May 23, 2022, at the age of 42 years.
Jason was born in Brooks, Alberta and lived in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia for 18 years where he worked as a Park Facility Operator. He was also a member of the Wolverine Nordic Mountain Society, and involved in building the Cascades Trail Project in 2006, and in the Monkman Memorial Trail in the summer of 2008. He then moved to Dawson Creek. Jason enjoyed being in the wilderness and gold mining throughout BC.
Jason will be missed by all of his friends and family and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting this kind soul.
Jay is predeceased by his father Ken Town and his grandparents Casper and Pearl Unser.
Jay is survived by his best friend Daniel Cassan, mother Shirley Unser, brother Jeff Unser, half sister Laura Town, nephews Layne Pearce and Dylan Unser, niece Ella Unser, as well as many extended friends and family.
