Ralph loved a good joke and enjoyed getting one over on his good friend, and cousin, Clarence (my father). Mom and Dad made a few trips up the Alaska Highway and I would try to meet them in Watson Lake. On one such trip, Ralph came up to Ft Nelson and joined me on the trek. After checking into the motel, we proceeded to the campground where Clarence and Ella were staying. Just before entering the campground, I had Ralph climb into the back of my van. I pulled up to their motorhome, went and greeted the folks and told my dad I needed his help getting something out of the van. When I opened the back door there was Ralph, a big grin on his face! Clarence couldn't believe it but was very pleased to see him. We've laughed about that over the years. I firmly believe my father greeted Ralph in heaven with a big grin and a powerful hug. Ralph has meant alot to me since getting to know him. Both him and Kay have always been wonderful to me. I'm so sad, and yet glad, that Ralph passed the way he wanted. Gone, but never forgotten. Love, Barb and Norm
