Obituary of Julie Anne Martin
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Julie Anne Martin, a longtime resident of Chetwynd, British Columbia, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the age of 58 years.
Julie was born on Monday, August 2, 1965, in Burks Falls, Ontario to parents Gary and Thelma Cragg. Julie and Dennis were married on November 3, 1984, in Chetwynd, British Columbia and Natasha and Chase soon joined the family.
Julie loved spending time out on the water fishing, outside quadding and camping or curled up inside crocheting, watching Nascar or cheering on her favorite hockey team. In the summer she spent countless hours tending to her flower garden and painting whimsical pictures of flowers or little children on old antique cans. But most of all Julie loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy.
Julie was predeceased by her daughter Tasha and her parents Gary and Thelma Cragg.
Julie leaves to be remembered by her loving husband Dennis; son Chace (Alex); grandchildren Caidyn, Kodi, Karsyn, and another granddaughter on the way; as well as many extended family and friends.
No service will be held at Julie’s request.
Julie will be placed with her daughter Natasha in the Tuscoola Mountain Cemetery at a later date.
