Obituary of Andre Arthur Joseph Poirier
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Andre Poirier, a long time resident of Dawson Creek, BC. Andy passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in Dawson Creek, at the age of 79 years.
Andy is survived by his sisters, Diane Last, Denise (Andre Bazinet) and Claire (Dave) Dudley; brother, Raymond (Helene), as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Andy is predeceased by his loving wife, Gladys (nee Gray), son Paul; parents Paul and Gabrielle (Bois), sister Madelaine (Gary) Ford and brothers Roland (Joanne Onuki) and Michel.
A memorial service will be held for Andy on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00AM from Reynars Chapel. Pauline Haycock will officiate. Andy will be laid to rest with his wife in the Dawson Creek City Columbarium immediately following the service.
For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Andy to Northern Health Community Program, 1001 110 Avenue, Dawson Creek, BC V1G4X3.
