Edwin Biddulph

Obituary of Edwin Robert Biddulph

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edwin Robert Biddulph, a resident of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Pouce Coupe, British Columbia, on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the age of 48 years.

Edwin Robert Biddulph was born in Whitehorse, Yukon Tuesday, November 19, 1974.

Edwin was a happy baby, he learned talk early, knew all of his ABCs and loved to sing songs. Edwin had an amazing imagination and loved to invent and build things.

As a little boy he loved going camping. This probably led to his love of scouting which he joined at 6yrs of age. Edwin did all the scouting things, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Ventures. He then went on to become a scout leader and spend many Summers at the Regional Camp at West Lake as a camp councillor.
Edwin also became a Junior Ranger in Pouce Coupe when he was in high school.
Edwin participated in 4H, raising a steer and fancy chickens.

When Edwin was in middle school at Central he started practicing with the South Peace Senior High football team, Ed played with the South Peace Penguins for the rest of high school. He loved the game and his teammates. The Penguins won the Peace Bowl in the Fall of 1993. Edwin was very proud of his team and their accomplishment.
Edwin graduated high school in 1993 and moved on to Edmonton where he played football with the Edmonton Huskies. It was at this time that he started his career in the oil patch.

Edwin worked for various companies doing a variety of different jobs. He spent two years helping his mom up at the Liard Hot Springs Lodge. He was in his element there and it was a happy time of his life.

Edwin grew up in several different communities.  Whitehorse, Campbell River, Smithers, Lake Else near Terrace, Pouce Coupe, and then finally Edmonton. He was most happy when there was some bush to built forts in or a lake fish in.

Edwin had many friends who he loved and who loved him back. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. He is missed terribly by everyone who loved him.

Edwin is survived by his mom Barbara; children Netasha and Kile; siblings Mandy, Quentin, Cheryl, Denis, Sherri and Sandra; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
