Obituary of Mike Rosa
Michael (Miloslav) Rosa, longtime resident of Hudson's Hope, passed away at Peace Villa Care Home in Fort St. John on the 25th of December 2019 at the age of 92.
Mike was born in Czechoslovakia and came to Canada as a landed immigrant in early 1953 landing in Halifax. He then worked various jobs making his way across Canada to British Columbia and in 1958 came to the Peace River Area. Mike worked for BC Hydro in Dawson Creek before transferring in 1968 to Hudson's Hope WAC Bennett Dam and then in 1973 to the transmission crew. He is survived by his wife Edith of 58 years, three daughters; Veronica Nelson (Gerry), Rosemarie Lefler, Johanna Dupuis (Paul), 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home at a later date.
