Obituary of Arnold Hayward

Arnold Hayward, resident of Bay Tree, Alberta passed away on January 21, 2020 at 78 years of age. He was born January 29, 1941 in Bay Tree to Eva and Fred Hayward, and was the second of seven children. Arnold was a farmer over his life, ensuring he could provide for his family and an education for his girls. He thoroughly enjoyed sports, but his favorite was baseball. Along with his wife Joanne, Arnold was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of building his own log home. Arnold will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joanne, children Nora (Talon) Labrentz, Becky Hayward, Teralea (Dave) Purdy, and Wannita (Craig) Card; seven grandchildren; mother Eva Hayward, siblings Vivian Buckle, Jean Smathers, Dan (Nancy) Hayward, Norman (Bunnie) Hayward, Ross (Linda) Hayward, and Eva (Harold) Armleder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arnold is predeceased by his former wife Terry, and father Fred Hayward. A funeral service was held on February 1, 2020 at the Bonanza Community Hall, with interment following in Hillhaven Cemetery, Bonanza, Alberta. Pastors Dave Brisbin and Brian Smallwood officiated.
