Obituary of Gerald Lloyd Graham
Gerald Graham, a resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, passed away on August 25, 2014 in Dawson Creek at the age of 64 years.
Gerry was born in Vancouver British Columbia to parents, James and Jocelyn (Joyce) Graham. He was a thoughtful guy and never went down without swinging but always wore his heart on his sleeve. Gerry resided in Dawson Creek for the past 12 years and worked around the area in construction, logging and mining. He was an outdoors person and enjoyed working in construction and logging at which he operated numerous heavy and large types of equipment.
Gerry had a passion for music and playing guitar, banjo and other instruments was enjoyed by so many friends and family. Gerry was an accomplished musician and at times composed his own music and lyrics. If Gerry was not at work you could always find him playing a tune. His other passions were fly tying and building miniature log cabins using small hand held tools and his imagination. Art and painting were also no challenge for Gerry as he was so gifted. All of his talents, humor, sarcasm, wit and honesty will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Gerry was predeceased by his father, James Graham.
Gerry is survived by his mother, Joyce (Graham) Ablowitz in Phoenix Arizona, brother and sister-in-law Keith & Elizabeth Graham and nephew Kristopher Graham all of Southern California, brother and sister-in-law Rodney (Graham) & Rita Ablowitz in Casper Wyoming, brother and sister-in-law Barton & Michelle Graham, nieces Shannon & Corriane Graham in New Port Richey Florida.
