Bill worked many different jobs such as, construction on the Bennett Dam, Western Supplies, and he also owned his own Janitorial Company for a number of years, but his main passion was the farm in Farmington, B.C that he started to build in 1965. In 1971, Bill and Sharon adopted the Auger children, four boys and one girl and raised all of them until they left home. Dad had many good attributes, he taught his children what hard work was, but also encouraged us to stay in school and always supported us in what ever we took on in life. Dad loved the animals and taught many people how to ride and train horses. Bill enjoyed the farm so much that he waited until the age of 74 to retire. He made the decision to sell the farm and moved to a property just outside of Dawson Creek. He loved and cared deeply for his family right to the end.
